Why did it happen?: Percentage change is being calculated from the new value instead of the original. It is one misunderstanding repeating, not seven separate mistakes.
What should improve?: Identify the base value before calculating — write it down before touching the numbers.
What happens next?: Percentage change is re-taught on 7 February, followed by a targeted set due 10 February.
